REGION 5 EDUCATION SERVICE CENTER JOB OPPORTUNITY
POSITION TITLE: Intruder Detection Auditor (Part-time)
LOCATION: Multiple Sites within Region 5 ESC area
SALARY: Contingent upon qualifications and experience
LENGTH OF WORK YEAR: As needed/On demand
QUALIFICATIONS:
*Bachelor’s Degree required
*Superintendent Experience Preferred
*Expertise and knowledge of Region 5 school districts
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
*Strong verbal and written communication skills
*Excellent interpersonal skills*Leadership, counseling, problem-solving skills
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Perform Intruder Detection Audits with direct interface to schools and management team
*Identify areas of improvement for processes and tools to enhance school safety
Working Conditions: (Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors)
*Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment, including a personal computer and peripherals
*Posture: Must be physically able to tolerate prolonged sitting, frequent standing, occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting, and standing
*Motion: Must be physically able to tolerate frequent standing and walking, repetitive hand motions, frequent keyboarding and use of a mouse; occasional reaching
*Environment: Must be physically able to work inside; tolerate occasional district-wide travel and statewide travel; regular exposure to noise
*Mental demands: Must be able to work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress; work prolonged or irregular hours on occasion.
*Multi-tasking with multiple deadlines
*Regular attendance is an essential function
*Work cooperatively with a wide range of programs and personalities
*Maintain confidentiality
*Performs other duties as assigned*Expertise and knowledge of Region 5 school districts
